ROXBOROUGH, POMERANCE NAMED MOST
INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN CALIFORNIA WORKERS' COMP INDUSTRY
Los Angeles, CA —Nick Roxborough and Drew Pomerance, co-founders of
the law firm Roxborough, Pomerance, Nye & Adreani, LLP LLP, were
recently named "Workers' Comp Executive's Most Influential People in California Workers'
Compensation."
Roxborough and Pomerance were one of 50 industry leaders chosen for
their contributions and influence on legislation and policy,
leadership, and representation.
An article in the December 8, 2010 issue of Workers'
Comp Executive coined their law firm "David to the industry's
Goliath" for its work in defending employers against
the insurance industry. Roxborough and Pomerance were
described in the article as "veritable pit bulls" who "aggressively
represented the employer community against predatory practices of
insurance carriers."
The article highlights how they have focused on
holding the State Compensation Insurance Fund accountable for its
practices, citing victories including the $20 million jury verdict
secured against State Compensation Insurance Fund in a bad-faith
dispute, and the $1.1 million award in the Palm Medical case
enforcing fair procedure rights on State Fund. Read more about Roxborough and
Pomerance online in
